Sr. Java Developer / WebLogic Administrator

International Logic Systems is a woman-owned, small business established in 1993.  We provide innovative IT solutions that support mission-critical projects for the Federal Government, as well as civilian and commercial sectors. ILS has an opening for a Senior Java/WebLogic Administrator.

• Required Skill Set:
  • Java/J2ee, Middleware Administration - WebLogic, WebSphere, Micro Services, Struts, EJB, Oracle, PL/SQL, JIRA, Troubleshooting. 
  • WebLogic Admin work which includes WebLogic installation, configuration, patching, system updates, troubleshoot WebLogic production issues.
  • WebLogic (Maintenance and Operations), Java (Development) and REST APIs (Development).
• Analyzes functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities.
• Develops block diagrams and logic flow charts. Translates detailed design into computer software.
• Tests, debugs, and refines the computer software to produce the required product.
• Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation.
• Enhances software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.
• Provides technical direction to programmers to ensure program deadlines are met.
• Analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional areas such as finance, accounting, personnel, manpower, logistics, and contracts.
• Develop block diagrams and logic flow charts.
• Translate detailed design into computer software.
• Test, debug, and refine the computer software to produce the required product.
• Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation.
• Enhance software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency. 

• Must have 10 years of experience, of which at least three (3) years must be specialized in WebLogic Administration. Specialized experience includes: experience as an applications programmer on large-scale data base management systems, knowledge of computer equipment and ability to develop complex software to satisfy design objectives. Demonstrated ability to work independently or under only general direction.
